Sorry for the basic question. Will the sticker be posted to the the Ford account or is iy only visible through a backdoor similar to how some of us got our VINs early?

I'm not sure about that part, my first e-commerce experience with Ford, but you can either decode the HTML or call your sales manager to provide the VIN, then do search for the sticker at the appropriate time.

I got the VIN by decoding and also received the email containing the VIN.

It's coming fast for me. Trying to get my current truck sold and saving up what I can.

Update! Got my 2009 Toyota Tundra sold for 18k! These used car prices are crazy. It cost me 7k to drive that truck for 13 years!

I am also a 5/9'er if you will and I went to the New York Auto Show this past Friday as a Ford VIP and got to ride in a Lariat ER, almost exactly what I ordered, but it was Atlas Blue and I ordered Smoked Quartz. They had a Red one on the floor you could sit in and explore so I took a few photos. All I can say is it was amazing and it just makes the waiting even more difficult.

Is everyone else not seeing their 5/9 build date in the Ford Tracker? My reservation page has 5/9 and I got the email with the date and a VIN.

My dealer has assured me of no ADM. but who knows when it’s time to put pen to paper. Till then I will still hold on to faith in a man’s word…

You already put "pen to paper" in regards to price when you checked the box prior to submitting your order. You have a lot of strength if the dealership tries to play games with an ADM not listed in your order.

My concern is with the ridiculous documentation fees. In my state, New Jersey, dealerships hide behind a "disparate treatment" defense. As a customer it is hard to challenge unless you can prove the fee is not universally applied.

I have called my dealership several times and spoken to three different sales agents using a blocked number asking a generic question about their documentation fee. I have lots of ammunition and a paid off law school loan to smack them in the face with.

Happy to help. Unfortunately I spend my days telling CEOs why they messed up. If I did not have a mortgage and a kid to put through college I would practice consumer law.

Remember Ford is paying attention. They want to keep dealers inline. They see the advantage a direct to customer manufacturer like Telsa and Rivan have. They want to do everything they can to create those advantages within the constraints of their dealership model.

I benefited from this focus by being able to easily switch from my designated dealer when I was invited to order. My original dealer, selected on 5/19, did a bait and switch with an ADM of $5,000. I called around, found a dealer with no ADM and Ford was more than happy to switch me prior to order placement on 2/3.
