I believe it is a factor, they might have been aware of the pending approval of software updates and finalizing procedure's to address all other trucks in customer hands, inventory at dealers and recent production.I am on the CSP - but I have been told from Ford that the CSP will will be handled at the dealership and not at the Plant. From what I was told this CSP was not holding up transit, No such info was provided to the customer facing reps. Not saying that its not the reason just what I heard.
As well, validating QC with plant and labor expansion, now we see pending labor interruptions in the plant, logistics movement of parts to build and service vehicles, as well delivery of finished product.
