I got to the “activate in truck” message a few days ago. See post 134 in this thread. On chip hold now, which has not caused a big delay of lately.

Yeah, I am hoping it is a short delay too. Will probably have them pull another VVR around the middle of next week. If I can wait that long!

9/7 production. 9/16 built. People in sequence after my truck, with same build, were built a day before me so I think it was a day delay in the tracker.

Got impatient (big surprise) and had the Ford chat pull and updated VVR. No chip hold showing and I now have and ETA of 9/28-10/4!

As of this morning, I’m now on a chip hold. They’re still estimating delivery by 9/24. Last week ETA was 9/18-24. I’m ok with a bit of a delay. Need to finalize financing and unloading my current car anyway.

Well, I did a drive-by earlier today and the lot was half empty/full.
Still probably 50 (or so) trucks, pretty much all ICE.
Quite a few raptors (10 ish) but only two lightning that I could see, a silver and a gray.... no black or potential AMB.

Ugh, that's not a good sign...
I had hoped that running through production and having a tear tag without hold kinda sorta ment you're out of the woods.... apparently not

I have a 2w buffer min my plans so I hope things will play out in the end, at this point (200 days in after order) a few more days doesn't matter, just hope I get it before the end of the year.

From the WSJ today:

Ford said it expects to have about 40,000 to 45,000 vehicles in inventory at the end of the quarter that are awaiting parts and can’t be delivered to dealerships—a figure that is higher than expected. Those vehicles, many of them higher-margin trucks and SUVs, are expected to be completed and sold in the fourth quarter, the company said.

Stock down 5% on the news.

I think you are updating I took a look today and I now show as Built and it says estimated delivery 9/30 - 10/6 The shop site shows me as Built on 9/19
