@TaxmanHog - in case you need to update your tracker - status to shipped changed on 9/30 and i got the email on 10/1 - earliest estimated delivery moved by one day from 10/7 to 10/8 and latest estimated delivery is the same 10/14. I called today and it has been showing as received at Illinoi rail junction point since 10/3 - the carrier is Canadian national railway. I looked at their map and they don't reach California so I am assuming that the carrier will change from this point. Any estimate on how long it takes from there.

Update: I contacted Ford this morning.

Status: The vehicle has been shipped (it was shipped this morning). It was picked-up by Vehi-ship and she *said* the destination was my dealer. I'm almost sure she was mistaken and it is on the way to the ramp to be loaded onto rail.

I asked about chip hold and she says she does see an old one, but doesn't think it is still on hold as the vehicle was released to shipping. She said the VVR DOES NOT show a railcar#.

ETA to dealer is still 10/14 - 10/20

Got official status change (on Ford.com and order tracker) plus email from Ford this morning to indicate "shipped". ETA remains the same 10/14-10/20

Should change to BNSF, which you can check via UP phone at 800 877-5123. IHB to PDX is 6-7 days. Should be similar to CA.

To be clear, UP's automated updates are lacking in detail, but fresher than Ford Chat. If you go through that, then get an agent, they may give you more info, but may also just say to call BNSF. BNSF will tell you NOTHING, as your name is not one of the billing parties for the railcar.

Every time I called or used the chat they gave me an ETA which was the end of the range

My range was 10/8 to 10/14 and they would say the ETA is 10/14

Anyone has an idea about the extended warranty price. My dealer asked 6k and went down to 4k he is saying the lightning warranty is super expensive. i got a qoute from ford for 2k. Are they trying to rip me off?
