They are cranking them out! I ordered over the summer and received it yesterday. Timing was perfect as I had a road trip to use it on. Worked great!

Note that you need to be careful because not all tesla supercharger stations will work with the Lightning, even with the adapter. I found that out the hard way when I pulled up to a random charger station and it wasn’t compatible. I looked on FordPass and it told me of one that did work a couple miles away.

I recommend that Ford users always check the Tesla app for compatible Superchargers in areas they don't already know well.

Bummed to report that my newly received adapter is exhibiting the same issue that caused Lectron's recall last year. Mine is not locking to the NACS cable and can be pulled off without pressing the cable release lever. Tested on three NACS cables, including my local supercharger. The adapter would not latch and the NACS cable could be pulled out easily.

Don't want to send the thread sideways, but wondering if the issue exists for others.

Breaking the rules a bit to report a discrepancy...

My order is 102,6xx ordered May 9, 2024. If they are shipping in order, then I would have expected at least a shipping notice, but nuthing, and the reservation status still says est. Ship by January 2025.

But, I noticed that for any members here who self identifiy their location, all the latest receipt reports are from the US... no recent Canadian claims of receipt lately. In fact, I went back through this entire thread, and not a single report from Canada... Is there a different supply chain shipping adapters to Canada vs USA or is this just another Trump scheme to get Canada to become the 51st state?

I’m in the US my Oder number is around 94k and I haven’t gotten it. Ford.com still show its as arriving in Jan.

My December notice was moved to a FedEx package arriving on 2/2/25. This appears to be the Lectron version (matches the one I bought 9 months ago). Happy to receive a backup from Ford, a company that follows through with a promise to deliver despite the significant delay.

So. . . I finally went to go use my adapter but the Tesla supercharger cable doesn't get anywhere close to my charging port, regardless of weather I back in or pull in forward. The only way I can maybe use a super charger is too pull into an opposite side stall (maybe?, didn't try it and feels pretty mean/wrong). I assume everyone here will have the same problem. . .what do you do? I see there are some aftermarket extension cables out there. . . is that what I should do?

A2Z is actually working on an extension cable. Yeah unfortunately there is not much we can do. As others have said if you can use the far right one that’s good. Sometimes I will go up on the curb a bit. If you’re pulling straight into a spot the only way for it to reach is you need to be straight and centered in the spot. Use your front camera and pull all the way up until you are inches away from the post. You can also pull on the other side of the chargers if able. Sometimes you have to get creative.

Ours showed up today. No email, or maybe my email filter ate the email. No matter, just glad it's here. Have a trip out of town next weekend that was originally supposed to be this weekend and it's perfect timing to give us more options for the drive.

it's longer and much more substantive than the original early 2024 Ford - Tesla Supercharger adapter... all-metal main casing.
