Oh, and as I said early on, the EV credit expansion/extension is dead as a doornail. And no @Greene, I am no Elon fan. Sheesh.

Its a non binding amendment... far from dead. As mentioned, lots of things happen in vote-o-rama. No chance it goes in the final bill like that....Oh, and as I said early on, the EV credit expansion/extension is dead as a doornail. And no @Greene, I am no Elon fan. Sheesh.
deade, dead, dead. I've been to this rodeo many times, have testified numerous times on the hill, have spoken to both of my Senators and my Congressman on the issue in the past two weeks (disagree with two of the three but we're friends), it is done. Everyone gets that EVs now sell without help and have reached price parity with ICE. Literally everyone in DC, both sides of the aisle. The only remaining support comes from die-hard Bernie types. Go ahead, define yourself. Its a non binding amendment... far from dead. As mentioned, lots of things happen in vote-o-rama. No chance it goes in the final bill like that....
I take a more on the street approach vs. 30,000 foot philosophical view.I believe the tax credits for my green home, solar panels at my farm, and multiple EVs are a social evil
Yes, I say bias instead of biased. I don't care. That...was the whole point of "bias grammar fascist".For those that read my previous reply to @blkZ28spt , I'm sorry for replying in such a childish manner. It was not warranted and I regret posting it. But I will say that he could probably use a subscription to Grammarly to reduce red lines when people quote/reply to him. Might also keep him from getting mocked when he complains about ' Nobody likes a bias grammar fascist '.
Nobody likes a grammar NaziMore than one red line on your replies ( 5 on the first I replied to).
Let's talk some more about bias grammar shall we? What could possibly be more productive?Okay, it's official, I found the shill
Wow.Nope, you won. You own me. You only have two red lines and two blue lines when I quoted your reply. GREAT JOB! (Grammarly says you should not have a comma after 'this,' should have had a comma after 'grammar,' did not like 'it is' and 'possibly,' but what the hell do they know?) But I'm pretty sure Grammarly is a far-left grammar nazi designed to call out anyone who leans to the right!
No because it is not a plug in hybridSo, do powerboost owners receive a tax credit?
...even though it can plug into and fully charge a plugin hybrid. Got it.
Usually, you won't go broke underestimating intelligence of an average shnook, but this is a bridge too far. The charge port door is pretty obvious, as is the charge cord that came with the car. Not to mention the roughly $5K price difference. Having said that, I do know one person who bought plug-in fusion only because it gave him ability to drive in the carpool lane, and refused to plug in, even when it was almost free. The owner of a phev could also never plug in and always run on normal hybrid mode....I don't know why you would but I am sure there are plenty of people out there who don't even realize they can plug in their phev because the salesperson never told them it could.
It was possible to get a killer lease deal on the Wrangler 4xe because of the tax credit and many people buying them have no intention of ever plugging it in.Usually, you won't go broke underestimating intelligence of an average shnook, but this is a bridge too far. You base this on what?many people buying them have no intention of ever plugging it in.
