Another mid-30s EV fan here what started with trucks and then transitioned to EVs. Got this, Rivian and Cybertruck on order. Made it to Wave 1 here though.

35. Never owned a ford. Never owned a truck.

Currently a single Tesla MY household. Started with a Prius, then model 3 and now model Y.

Only buying because the value/demand seems to be there and I made wave 2. Otherwise I would have stuck to Tesla only and cheered on the collapse of all dinosaur automobile companies :)

Will use the lighting until we can buy the cybertruck.

2021 Honda Clarity Fuel Cell
2021 Hyundai Ioniq EV
2021 Hyundai Kona EV

2023 Porsche Taycan Sports Turismo GTS (end of year Delivery)

2022 Hummer EV (first edition reservation just for fun, probably going to keep it , however we don't know when it will be delivered, probably next year since only 80 of those have been delivered so far)

2022 Ford F150 Lightning (wave 5 , going to be our first Ford and first Pickup Truck, can not wait)

Never in my life I would've imagined myself getting a pickup , but hey F150 Lighting is just too good not to get in ( Raptor alternative to me)

40 here.

Currently drive a 2010 F150 STX that I have had since it was new.

we also have a BMW X3 and previously we had a 325i and a Nissan Frontier.

As you can tell, we typically hang on to vehicles for a while.

56 here, have had many cars, many fords over the years starting in the 90's (Explorers, ranger, excursion). Drifted away after weak experience with 2008 F250. Went to Jeep/Dodge until 2018, got an F350 to replace my 3/4ton ram for towing , and it works spectacularly. Lightning will replace my wife's newer ram 2500, we are giving up some towing capacity (gooseneck) but it should handle her small tag horse trailer. Should be terrific for her 70mi round trip commute into work. We had been looking for more efficiency, but really wanted truck capacity, not a compact runaround.

34 here! This will be my third Ford so far. My first car was a 1991 Ford Explorer Sport and I loved it. Trashed it, but loved it.

I currently have a 2017 Mustang GT 5.0 that will be sticking around.

I daily drive a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins. I’ll be selling it to make room for the Lightning. Sad to see it go, I really love it and love working on it but I also like the planet.

Added poll at top of the thread. Please vote everyone.
My wife objects to being called a "Femal" and me claiming the vote while she thinks she will also be a household driver. :)

She says it sounds too much like "Feeble".

Maybe caption: # and Gender Household Driver(s)? :)

What info do we want to know? Age(s) of Owner(s) or Driver(s)? Gender of Owner(s) or Driver(s)? :)

44. The Lariat ER will be my 4th Ford and 3rd F-150 but I haven't had an F-150, or any truck, since 2001. I've missed having a truck but it hasn't made sense until recently due to seating constraints (needed 3 row).

My first vehicle was a 1988 F-150 "Custom" which was the old work truck model. The entire interior was vinyl. It was a hand me down from my uncle who used it at his business. Later, I had an 1997 Lariat extended cab. Currently driving a 2012 Ford Flex (also have a 2019 Bolt and a couple of Porsches).

58.

First car to drive, learn and own: 1965 Ford F100 truck custom cab 3 speed manual column shifter. It was my dad's farm pickup truck handed down to me in 1978 when I got my driver's license at age 14.

Second Ford truck: F150 Lightning Lariat SR Ice Blue Silver.

What a difference 44 years of driving has become! Wonder what my dad would say when I pull up in a Lightning ?

Similar to this F100 I first learned to drive:

When i got rid of my 1997 F-150 in 2001 i *almost* replaced it with a 2nd gen Lightning but ended up buying a Subaru WRX.

If you're so inclined to share, there is a gender question below the age brackets, initially I missed it, but used {Change vote} to amend my response.
