Checking the threads on here a lot of people got BC 1.4 before 2025. Is anyone else like me w/o? I went to Louisville for the new year hoping to get the update. Still
I have a 23' Lariat ER (purchased in June 2023). Still haven't gotten BC 1.4. I'm expecting to get it just before my trial expires in June of 2026.

Nothing here either. Last update September. Most frustrating thing about this truck. (Which otherwise I love).

There isn't an easy customer centric way, but tech's can tell based on version code loaded to related modules.

Neat that you can turn off curve control... didn't see it in the infotainment.

The fact that there are all these updates, and no real "documentation" from Ford on the features, how to use them, and best practices, is hilarious to me.
Yeah based on the little pop up for Predictive Speed Assist, one would think it was controlled by toggling that off but that just stops the truck from adjusting to speed limit signs. I updated the below from 2 to 1 in the IPMA and no more wonky curve control.

Dear Ford Early Access Member,

We are starting to roll out the final software update to select F-150 model year vehicles to enable BlueCruise 1.4. The BlueCruise 1.4 software package includes robust updates to enable the best hands-free highway driving experience for your vehicle.

The FINAL Software update you say....?

Definitely poor wording. Guess they mean the final update required for BC 1.4. There would be a lot of sour grapes if it were the final update previous model years receive.

Interesting... I have the speed limit sign toggle off, but it still slows down on full speed gentle freeway curves.

Very sharp curve example:

Agreed.

BlueCruise is horrendous IMO. It almost stuffed me into a guardrail once, and drifted into a backed up exit lane another time nearly sideswiping countless slower moving cars.

It’s especially comically bad if you’ve ever driven a Tesla that will drive you home and park itself in the exact spot in the driveway you prefer.

The rest of the Lightning truck is fantastic though.

As someone that's been waiting since they announced we would get 1.2/3 last summer and now has 1.4... let me just say to those that are sad they don't have it...

It still sucks. Now it slows down where it shouldn't in gentle freeway speed bends. It slows down when another car is 20 cars away. It bounces around in the lane again like it can't find center. It still disengages on mapped clearly lined roads. It still nags as you to look at the road when you're already looking at the road.

More over-hyped than the playoff San Diego Chargers.

From this post and what I've heard through background sources, it appears that some testing is still going on with the EAP members, OR they munged up yet another informative email to the group well past any prior testing and what we see in the other thread on this topic is that they have released to ~production~ aka the rest of us ..... or not.........

Once again @Ford Motor Company timing of communications from all teams needs better coordination.
