Recent reports of adapters being delayed until January were an error on Ford’s part. Check your adapter status again today.

From sister-site MachEforum (via Ford)

From Ford:
Seeing a few posts from owners stating that their adapters were pushed from September to January. This should not be the case, and was an error in the back end of the system. If the reservation portal isn’t updated now, they will be tomorrow. Yes, they were pushed due to supply constraints, but not this far out. Supply is ramping.
You are correct!! Mine now says October 2024.

Bumped from October to November.

I could have really used one last week. Only Tesla fast chargers where I was staying in the Outer Banks, but it got me checking L2 chargers and after paying for one charge I found 2 free chargers that ran 6.5-7 kWh.

ChargPoint and EVgo kept me going on the way down and back. Watch out for "Connect" fees on EVgo chargers.

My order no longer shows on my account page. Hope Ford did not cancel it.

Go to the Connected Services page on the Ford website, then paste &keyName=chargeradapterstatus at the end of the URL.
Thanks that worked... now saving the link.

So per potato. Login to the ford.com web site then go to my accounts then choose connected services at that point if you are on a PC add the &keyName=chargeradapterstatus to the end of the url.. on my phone is got to the page and tapped where it said ford.com and it showed the url and I pressed and pasted to the end of that.. got me to my delivery date (october) and I saved my bookmark to make it easier to pull up again... hope that helps...

You can use the "Check Order Status" link at the bottom of the confirmation email that Ford sent on order day. In my case email came on Leap Day (Feb 29, 2024).

I ordered mine back in march. I don't have that email any more.

Why don’t we just assume they will never ship.

Ok finally found status…ordered February and said shipping October, hmmm halfway through month and no shipping status?!

Must have messed up the alignment of the Lightning gods ecosystem by ordering on leap day?!

Also, if you see this running around on the internet, it was a brief glitch on the Ford Accessories site:

I just received word from Ford's Model e Communications team that Ford is not opening up new orders and "complimentary adapters are our priority".
