Austin is uphill from Houston and door to door the trip is 165 miles with an elevation gain of about 800 feet. Certainly not mountainous but uphill.
For what it's worth, in case you are wondering about elevation change cost in range; in my pro a little over 400 ft of elevation gain is about 1 kwhr, so about 1% of the battery. Straight ratio of weights to adjust the potential energy cost if yours is heavier or lighter. Maybe you'll find that useful one day!

Mmm…reference my post on range and time to travel for the Lightning/R1T/Tesla.

I do hundreds of miles per day, regularly in my truck without any issues. Ive done it solo, with family, hauling lawnmowers in the bed, towing a camper. I’ve done it in the heat, in the cold, at 50mph at 90mph. I’ve gone through plains, up and down mountains, and along the coast.

This is a fantastic truck that can do it all.

FWIW, the Lightning isn’t any worse off than any other EV truck, or heck 90% of the EVs out there and comes darn close to gas over distance - charger availability & reliability aside.
Your F150 Lighting does 200+ miles a day, and it doesn't matter if the heater is cranked and you're pulling your camper at 75mph? I say BS. You must have the 131kwh. Even then, I'm skeptical about the hundreds of miles a day on a single charge.
I absolutely love my truck; it is just not meant to go long distances without having to stop every 2 hours to charge.

Call Bs as much as you want…

Picture 1, trailer visible in tow. I dated 100 miles at 100%, 70 miles travelled still indicates 70 miles remaining..ended up going about 180 on this one

220 miles travelled, 73 remaining. Cruise control locked at 73.

I set my climate either on Auto 69 which is what I am comfortable at, or off if I find it a nuisance (ie, blowing heat when the sun is shining through)

But you made a broad statement there bud. If we start talking about the truck needing to go uphills both ways with heat set to HI with headwinds in -20F while towing a trailer loaded with a bucket loader in 6 feet of snow, no it won’t go 200 miles.
