Anybody run into these issues? Or know how to resolve or troubleshoot? Truck is clean so dirty sensors are not the issue.

That’s happened to me 2 times in the last week. Usually resolves itself after a short drive and restart. Been clear for a few days now. Not sure what the trouble is.

Unfortunately mine has been persistent for several drives for 3 days straight

Ouch… sounds like a trip to the dealer. Please let me know what the solution is in case mine starts acting up again. Good luck to you!

Do you have a steep drive way?
Nope not at all. I am getting the alert every where as well. So it definitely seems like a module or something is just bad. Waiting to hear from the dealer for recommendations

Dealer appointment set for next Tuesday. This is a new alarm that doesn’t make me feel great! Anyone seen this one yet!?!

Pinched wire somewhere in the tail light assembly. If I recall correctly , it was a few hour repair.

My tail light is actually chipped behind the tailgate and fills with water y til the sensor got wet. Dealer says it’s not a factory issue since they can not pin point what caused a chip in the taillight, even though it lines perfectly up with the tailgate safety cord.
they told me to replace the twilight at my cost of just over $1300…LOL

Based on this thread, i took a look at my rear tail light to see if there was any obvious problem - and i noticed a crack.

A few months ago, the metal end of a bungee strap got stuck in my tail gate, and when it closed it cracked the tail light. This in turn looks like it has caused moisture to accrue within the light, which probably broke the sensor. This is a pretty bad design because the tail light wraps the corner and can be cracked by the tailgate closing. Any rocks/debris in the tail gate could easily break this flimsy plastic. Do all F150s have this same light shape?

This part is $1300.

Does anyone know if anyone has had success in removing the moisture from an assembly like this? and if moisture was removed, could the sensor still work?

Recap: I have a crack in my taillight. Taillight works fine. Water got in there, and my BLIS sensor stopped working, throwing error codes.

Update: Dealer wants $3100 to replace the taillight assembly. They are unwilling to replace just the sensor. I tried to talk them into replacing and coding the sensor, and I would silicone the crack in the light. The service manager mentioned some BS about it being an EV and electrical issues so they need to do the entire light (which is 100% lies).

I plan to replace the sensor myself and figure out how to use forscan to code the new sensor and then silicone the crack in the taillight. i will create a new thread once i get this all figured out.
