Brand new lightning owner (4 weeks) and first EV. I recently took a road trip and charged on a few public networks. I have found bits and pieces of this in the forum. Apologize for what most likely is repeat. Also apologize if my post or format is annoying, any suggestions on how to make it more digestible are welcome.
I have a cost question. I charged twice at the same supercharger location at roughly the same time and for roughly the same amount. One time it went through the ford app and once through the Tesla app. See screen shots
1) it seems from what I read that charging on the ford app is more expensive, but $20 more seems a bit much. Can I find an actual invoice like is shown on the Tesla app? So I know what I was actually charged per kw/h
2) how do I know when Iām using the ford app vs the charger company app? Meaning, one time it just charged through ford without me selecting any thing and the other time I had to do it through the Tesla app
overall I am enjoying the truck. Definitely a lifestyle change. But Iād like to have do better visibility on what Iām being charged
