BlueCruise - Activation was "Pending" for two months now says Active

I got my Lariat in August. I have only driven it on a highway twice so far. Both times were Route 81 in New York between Binghamton and Syracuse. Although I think that is a full BlueCruise route, I could never get hands free BlueCruise to work. When I checked in the connected services section in the app it always said "Activation Pending" for BlueCruise. Now all of a sudden it says it is active with an expiration date of 2025.

I am hoping things means I will now have hands free BlueCruise? I can't wait to try it.

I was able to use hands-on BlueCruise and it is almost more annoying than driving without because it will harass you every minute unless you are tightly griping the steering wheel with both hands! Holding the steering wheel normally isn't enough to satisfy it!

As far as I can I have not recently received any software updates.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Is route 81 a divided road?

If it is, and you still get a lot of the "hold the wheel" alerts, how is the condition of the road, lots of missing or worn lane markings? This is what I've noticed even on I-95 in my area.

My BC still doesn't work. I get a "driver facing camera" issue since day 1. My app says it is active, the dealer helped me activate at delivery. It's not a huge issue for me and I figure it will either resolve itself after an update or I'll show the dealer next time I'm in. I'm still at 3.5.2.

I assume you me a divided highway? 81 is a divided highway. Two lanes in each direction. The condition of the road is generally very good. Some spots are under construction. But at no point in my driving did I get the option for hands-free.

Yes, that is what I meant, I corrected my post above.

BTW, I-81 and NY-81 are different roads, I was thinking your experience was related to Blue Cruises limited performance on two-way undivided highways, but one would expect interstate level roads or divided state highways would work well.
