Bump for hot topic of interest as our systems age and become subject to environmental failure.

Try charging your 12volt battery. Seems to fix a lot of random stuff on the truck.

ah, great news! I’m glad you got it working!

For me, the dealer just replaced an oil pump and a heater unit, but it apparently did not do the trick. I’ll forward this to them though, thanks!

At this point I’m left with a pretty bad taste in my mouth. Between the dealer that sold it to me blatantly ignoring me, and ford being utterly useless, (they called me to tell me to call the service dept) I’m about ready to declare Ford as dead to me. That matters to exactly no one, I know. But holy hell has this been a horrible experience in customer service.

I will at least say that the dealer that’s helping me with service great. They’re doing all they can do. (different from the dealer that sold it to me in every way)
OP last visited the forum Last seen Apr 24, 2024 , we have not heard what his trucks ultimate problem & resolution was, to bad it would be nice to hear solutions after an issue is resolved.

Guessing the OP dipped out and turned in the truck.....

Ford eventually made it right, but it took over a month for them to replace half the heating system. Turned out to be a bad pump from the factory, so QC failed hard.
The dealership was the worst though. And more to blame than Ford. Complete assholes. Courtesy Ford of Gresham Oregon. Avoid at all costs.

I wound up trading up to an ER anyway though. Absolutely love the truck.

I had this issue. The dealer did not believe me initially (but then again, I knew more about the ‘24 heating system than they did). I insisted the keep searching. Eventually they replaced the blower motor and all is well now. I have a thread about the experience on this forum.

I will say, coming from a smaller car, the big cabin and touch surfaces like the center console take longer to warm up. I generally set the temp to 76F for at least 20 minutes if I want to be cozy warm. Also, the temp sensors and auto heat/cool system doesn’t seem to be very good in moderate weather l, like 50F. Around that temp, it struggles to keep the cabin warm enough for me. However, the auto heat works really well at colder temps and the auto ac works just fine when it is warm/hot out.
