Can we set max charging rate?

It may be easier to LOWER the amperage than to increase it. I set mine for 'hard-wired/20A breaker' because that's really all I need (until Lightning) with a long TOU rate window. I'm interested in seeing if @dirtdiver 's is also set to the lowest amperage.

It's structured to complicate the process so that it is not easy to increase the amperage once set.
Unfortunately, listing agencies and the NEC CMP want this, the idea being that users shouldn't be able to override potential safety features easily. They want EVSE's permitted to have variable max load configuration if done in a protected installer menu or via hardware DIP switch, but not easily changeable by the user once installed.

I understand it, it just makes life more difficult if it's portable and you want it adaptable to many situations.

Charging question: I see in the manual that it is beneficial to leave the vehicle plugged in so that it can condition the battery (in addition to charging it, obviously). My EVSE has the option of setting a charging schedule, as does the vehicle itself. I assume that I should NOT use the EVSE scheduler, as that would disable all power to the vehicle during off hours, which would prohibit vehicle conditioning during that time. Rather I should only use the vehicle scheduler, which will limit charging times but not limit conditioning. Is that statement correct?

This is something that I really need because I'm not dealing with breaker capacity at my (off-grid) house but inverter capacity.
The Amproad mobile charger has selectable setting! Search the forum for mobile charger, I bought one, works like a charm.
