If it is a Home Flex, the settings are in the Chargepoint app. You can dial it back to 20 A breaker, 16 A charging. Just posting a link to show what it looks like. They made a couple other Level 2s that weren't adjustable.I have an existing level 2 charger- charge point.

That's the one. The Flex in the name derives from its flexible charging settings in software. The Home Flex has to be 'activated' to have the setting available. To change the setting, you may have to re-activate the charger to see it. It defaults to 16A output. There are FAQs about the process under Settings->Help->ChargePoint Home->ChargePoint Home Flex (iOS)Here is what I own.

It's structured to complicate the process so that it is not easy to increase the amperage once set.
