Via the app, confirm that the bullet for "Use preferred charge settings" is selected.
If this is the case, confirm the location settings also is set to 90%, if that is true, and it's continuing to malfunction. Delete the charging profile.
Unplug the truck and drive it below your prefered set point, ie. if it's already at 100% get it below your preferences by ~5 to 10% or more.
The next time you plug in to charge, it will begin charging immediately but proceed to the trucks sync screen and CHARGING application, rebuild the location based charging profile, at the parking location on your property/garage..... make sure your SOC is set as desired, set the time frames for weekday and weekend. Save it. Double check the prefered charging scheme is checked on.
Unplug the truck for ~5 minutes, then plug in again, the charging process should suspend until the appointed time frame [assuming it's later in the evening], otherwise if you're already in the charging time window it should continue to charge and stop at your desired SOC 90%
Later on via the Fordpass app, view the new charging profile, don't adjust it until you see a successful charging cycle stopping at 90%
