I just received a text from my dealer saying they could do the hood module as a mobile service so they're going to come to me. An actual positive CS experience lol.

Not showing up in FordPass yet.
I went to my dealer to schedule the Parking Sensor update and that's when I was told about it. I'm guessing Ford plans on addressing it whenever a lighting passes through for some other service. I never had a notification in my FordPass either.

I finally seem to be somewhere close to up to date. APIM and TCU modules updated at the dealer yesterday. Though it does not show on repair sheet, Power-Up was also updated to 6.2.0, which was not there before. Hoping this all breaks my long-standing OTA issues and I start getting other updates soon. (EDIT: Just learned that 6.2.0 comes as part of the APIM update)

I just had this (24P24) taken care of today, along with CSP 23B50. Interesting that it’s not shown in the app, and apparently Ford is not sending notification letters to owners.

I just got my truck back from having 24B56 applied and while they had it they also performed this one (24P24). I was surprised as it had not showed up in my list of CSPs. I'm happy to have any updates that I can get, especially for free. Interestingly, my build date (May 2023) is outside of the windows listed in the bulletin.

FordPass sent me a message today that I had a recall or CSP open. Followed the link and entered my VIN and it indicated I didn't have any open Recalls or CSPs so I called. The person indicated it was CSP 24P24 where Frunk doesn't fully open or close sometimes. I have never had a problem with the Frunk. I used FDRS to update all the modules on the list in early Oct. so probably already updated this module. If I update the module myself using FDRS will it drop from the open list?

My dealer performed this CSP for me at the same time as the parking sensor CSP.
Unless the sound is coming from elsewhere, It appears they also reinstalled the frunk speaker that I removed nearly two years ago because I now have a loud beeping every time I open/close the frunk.

Ok. So this is…interesting to say the least. I just got around to looking at the paperwork from my truck’s visit to the dealership.

Here is the description of work performed related to the re-installed buzzer.

First off, I never stated that the front hatch is giving an error, nor was this ever discussed with me. I found out on my own when I opened the frunk post-service only to hear the dreaded triple beep that I thought I’d never hear again. So is this how dealers make money off EVs, by making up warranty claims??? Maybe this is fraud, maybe it isn’t but it seems to be right on the line.

Second, and most concerning is the last note stating “Probable cause is from history showing front bumper repair”.

What history could they be referring to? I bought my truck new with 14 miles on it and have not gotten into an accident. I did remove the front license plate holder that they installed and there is a small dent in the bumper from where it was placed. Could they be looking at that and making an assumption or is there a dealer assessable history that shows a repair was done on my front bumper?

Could the bumper have been damaged in transit and the selling dealer or factory repaired it prior to you taking delivery?

Entirely possible but it doesn't show up in my service history on Ford's website...unless dealers have access to a non-customer facing history. Buying a CarFax report might answer this question but it's not worth spending $50 to find out something that I can't do anything about.

Possible that if you removed the frunk to modify the beeper that it recorded a code when the frunk tub was unplugged. They may have just assumed it was for a bumper repair.
Just grabbing at straws here.

I had a positive mobile experience for software updates for CSPs.

I was due for my 30k service. So, I scheduled mobile service for tire rotation and asked about the two CSPs that I had on file (frunk and parking sensors).

Mobile tech arrived and completed the tire rotation and software updates for the two CSPs, all in less than one hour.

I checked front parking sensors by pulling close to parked cars (seem to be working properly and the same as before) and 360 camera size seems proper (even though I do not think this issue impacted me on 2023 XLT).

I asked for the complimentary multi-point inspection, "whatever that means for EVs." They said my brakes look brand new.

All-in $29.95 + tax for the tire rotation, which they do as front/back swap instead of the owner's manual diagram of crossing front tires to opposite rears.

I have scheduled a valet appointment to bring the car in the dealership to check my sticking turn signal lever because I got no response from the mobile tech when I brought up this issue.
