Dealer installed factory deleted options

I'm showing several deletes on my build:

and in the features description I do not see heated steering wheel and no delete is mentioned.

My question it are items issues that can be installed and activated by Dealer when chips available or are they forever lost as options?

I'm considering canceling my order and buying a demo that has no deletes on it.

You will get heated wheel now, but the other three options, it's unknown but many speculate that they won't be installable after build.

I don’t blame you for finding a demo without deletes. It blows my mind that Ford has the balls to sell a platinum with deleted seats since that’s probably the biggest feature that separates it from ER Lariats.

Agreed, if I didn’t have the seats I would have just gotten a Lariat.

exec summary: I passed in my 23 order.

TL;DR

Seats would likely need to be replaced - not rebuilt - due to internal wiring harnesses and airbags. Other modules are easy enough to install and program with Forscan. Issue is wiring harnesses. If the wiring harness is missing or one with lesser wires, it’s a s$&*show to redo the harnesses.

Exactly why I'm finalizing a 2022 Lariat demo, no deletes AND full tax credit.

The truck I found is $81,244 including 511A, $495 for paint, mats, Max Tow, and spray in liner.
A comparable 2023 is $89,409, with deleted security pack (save $50), scale (save $650), and heated steering wheel (save $140). So, with those added back it's $90,249.

Tax credit of $7,500 makes the 2022 $73,744, so the 2023 is either $15,665 (21.2%) or $16,505 (22.4%) more expensive, and way to pricey for me. Not to mention that I want the deleted options.

slightly off topic but does anyone have photos of the factory power deployable running boards? Can that be installed post-delivery? Anyone have a part number?

It would be easier to go aftermarket. The wiring isn't there for them, you need one or two modules and they aren't cheap unless you can find some takeoffs.

I've found ebay as a great source for takeoffs (since we dont have many pick-a-parts anymore) but was just wondering if anyone has gotten them delivered with the factory steps. I started seeing them on orders. Also if anyone's looked into what it takes to put them on

I purchased and installed an aftermarket Amp Research set and they work flawlessly. So go that route is my suggestion

Does the Zone lighting still work with the Amp Research light kit (if you got that)?
