Did anyone know if Ford is planning on listing dealer locations with publicly available chargers on the Ford Pass App?

Looks like some are listed & some aren't - my dealer in Kerrville has a small unit at the rear of their building, but it doesn't show up on Plugshare or Blue Oval, but several Ford dealers in the S Texas area do show up. I suspect it's a choice the dealer makes whether to have available to the public.

Anyone can add a charger to Plugshare.

I also don't think any dealers are going to have DCFC, only level 2. If you are planning to use this as a travel option be prepared to spend hours.

Agreed but even knowing there are level 2 chargers available allowing you to get to the next DCFC would be a nice tool to have.

All of the chargers I've ever seen at a Ford dealership are near the front of the sales area. All of them usually blocked by new cars and none accessible after hours due to lots that are blocked with gates.

Dealers that signed up to be in the future EV dealer group are required to install DCFCs. Minimum of 2, IIRC.

This.

And yes, they will all be in FordPass, added as a result of whatever network the chargers are part of. FordPass pulls in charger info from other networks.

Current experience with Ford dealer charger speeds and accessibility is irrelevant, as Model e dealerships have to meet specific requirements with DC chargers in the future.
