"The agency said these vehicles seem to have system limitations relating to the detection of stationary vehicles while traveling at highway speeds and in nighttime lighting."

Heck I could've told them that. Even 100% sunny i wouldn't trust it approaching stopped traffic at speed.

lol........

Now with the fairytale "EV Mandates" gone we will never see it, heck T3 might be put on the shelf.

I'm o.k. with it. Legacy Auto is just doing what legacy auto has done forever, you get what is on the window sticker, nothing more nothing less.

If we want 1.4 we have to trade in or enable it with FORSCAN, simple as that.

You really think they might shelve T3? Eventually the market will dictate EV is the way to go. I’m hopeful the present climate of resistance and foolishness will wind down. I will say, I am glad we just had our ChargePoint installed at home. That sucker is awesome.

Farley said small cars are the sweet spot where Ford can make money on EVs. Sure doesn't sound good for T3.

Ford won't shelve T3. There has already been too much invested in it.

But Ford is looking at adding a gas generator to it. Think Ramcharger.

Has any other manufacturer with self driving features had documented mishaps, or is it only Ford? I seem to recall reading about several Tesla incidences.

If they do, that kills any interest I have in it completely.

If anything, this should make Ford want to push out upgrades faster to prevent future issues.

Keep your eyes on the damn road and stop looking for gimmicks and unsafe workarounds.

We're still responsible for being fully engaged in the driving operation ... with a little help here & there.

I was telling a friend "I feel safer and more alert when driving with BC on because I know it drives like a toddler so I need to react."

Absolutely.

GM is doing something for the defense industry right now in field testing, this short clip is embedded in the Ukraine war report, ignore the rest of the video if it bothers anyone......
Very interesting. However, having a gas tank when a Russian tank is hauling ass trying to get to your out of juice truck makes sense. Carrying an ICE engine and associated junk in District of Columbia, ..... not so much.
