CAPEX has been spent. EV’s are here to stay. The adaption rate just slowed a little.Ford won't shelve T3. There has already been too much invested in it.

We are most likely at a non growth plateau at best for at least the next few years.CAPEX has been spent. EV’s are here to stay. The adaption rate just slowed a little.
I'm afraid that ship of opportunity has already sailed.Just my opinion but if the US automakers don’t get their act together on EVs China is going to take over as the world leader in auto production
Our window of opportunity is closing quickly
Then the US taxpayers will be bailing out the big 3 automakers
We should not stick our heads in the sand.
The time is now
Not for mall crawling applications.Very interesting. However, having a gas tank when a Russian tank is hauling ass trying to get to your out of juice truck makes sense. Carrying an ICE engine and associated junk in District of Columbia, ..... not so much.
I don’t know sometimes you need an suburban assault vehicle just to get through traffic and go to the store! Not for mall crawling applications.
Most of us have not received the OTA yet, a few testers have it, while other members did some FDRS downloads and forscan tweaking.I haven't got my update yet but hasn't a large portion of lightnings already received the update?
From my observations the Human Driven Vehicles suffer from the same system limitations!"The agency said these vehicles seem to have system limitations relating to the detection of stationary vehicles while traveling at highway speeds and in nighttime lighting."
Heck I could've told them that. Even 100% sunny i wouldn't trust it approaching stopped traffic at speed.
True. I'd take a driverless tesla over a lot of the people on the road. From my observations the Human Driven Vehicles suffer from the same system limitations!

The Tesla self-driving is spectacular. I used it in the city in heavy traffic. It was able to make a left turn from a stop sign across two lanes of heavy traffic that had the right-of-way. It chooses when to overtake and adjusts for construction zones. It definitely drives better than my wife, and might even be better than me at gaging distances.True. I'd take a driverless tesla over a lot of the people on the road.
