I have seen a few publications reporting on the lower interest rates as well as possible cash incentives for lightning, has anyone gotten any discounts on their ordered vehicle?

I see on the Ford payment estimator there's some incentives showing that say "from dealer stock". Does an ordered truck qualify? I would think that technically the truck goes into dealer inventory. But also I have been under the impression in the past that these types of incentives are for vehicles already on the lot and not taking delivery of an ordered vehicle.

It seems Fords production is outpacing their retail order demand, so I would think these incentives are going to be applied to the ‘stock’ trucks on the lot.

Does anyone know if an ordered vehicle counts as 'take delivery from dealer stock'?

But if you decline to purchase the order, it becomes dealer stock.
Interesting! That would be worth a discussion with the dealer. You might have to forfeit your deposit, depending on the dealer policy and state laws.

So @FordMotorCompany is punishing it's customers who have waited years for a vehicle by not giving them the same rebate as the person who decided yesterday that they want a lightning today. Thanks.....

But do I lose my price protection even if I still end up buying it?
You pays your money and you makes your choice. You either get price protection (which I don't think anyone has at this point), or you get the smallish rebate.

What do you mean by "I don't think anyone has at this point"?

My order price was $53k total and the window sticker is printed at $66k total. It's my understanding I should be price protected to the order price.

You were in that group where they took your order and then didn't build any more Pros, right?
I'm in the group that ordered a pro online even though it showed sold out.
I believe there are people in all trims that had a higher price on the sticker than their order.

If you take your ordered Lightning, you are entitled to what ever the price was at the time of order (price protection), APR rates, and any PCO / incentives.

But if you turn around and pick out a "dealer lot" Lightning then no - you do not get any price protection, APR or PCO.
