FCSP Update Pending, Connection Lost

I would have thought updates to FordPass would be automatic, but I guess not. I updated to 4.31 this morning but it still won't connect to the FCSP. blank white screen.

got my Lariat on 9/11 and have no evidence of OTA's for the FCSP or the truck. perhaps that will fix some things but I'm still waiting. I do have to take the truck in this week or next to fix the keyblade issue (details on another thread) so I'll have them update the power up software

FordPass should update just like any other app on your device, depending on your settings.

Keep hitting the reload icon in the lower right corner if it's visible, might need to do it 2-4 times.

{If you've NEVER successfully connected, this might be a fruitless piece of advice} until the Fordpass association is completed.

If so, while your mobile device is on wifi connected to home network.

Try logging into the FCSP using it's setup utility

Select the station ID from this screen

Enter the original FCSP password, then wait a few seconds

the control panel for the FCSP should come up, finish the association with Fordpass

That should bring you to Fordpass where the association will finalize.

the setup app doesn't see the station either.. I had to do a hard reset (button on the FCSP) when had setup problems when first installed. i suppose I'll have to try that again. but won't be able to get to it for a few days.

Yes, that might be necessary.
But try a power down at the circuit breaker, then after powering up, wait 30 minutes to see if it resumes talking to your network and that the configuration app allows you to see it and log in to it, if that fails, do the master reset of the FCSP and a fresh round of configurations.

just got off with Ford. FCSP tech support verified that they can see the charger. They passed me on to Ford Pass support. although at taxmanhog's suggestion I had updated to ver 4.31 and still had problems. FP support had me uninstall and reinstall FP. problem solved!
