My truck is having the same symptoms as mentioned above. Will be taking it to a dealer in two weeks for modem issue. Prior to that, I have removed fuse 32 on numerous occasions. After that would not resolve the modem problem, I have disconnected 12v negative. It worked for a few times. Not anymore...FordPass team told me "the modem is not responsive, take it to a dealer" I suspect TCU may need to be replaced. Don't have high confidence in the dealer I will be going to
