Ah yes I had forgotten about that list. Also shows the 240v outlet as optional on the Pro. Great, I guess that answers my question earlier.

Without clarifying that the asterisk means fleet customers only, one would think the extended range battery is optional on the pro from reading the most recent communication.

Is clarity too much to ask for along with increased frequency. Asking for a friend.

Darren Palmer has stated on multiple occasions that 15k is incorrect for the first year. What it will actually be is unknown. It seems like Ford is doing everything they can to increase ev production.
hence the 'unofficial' portion of my statement. As discussed on the other forums Model Year and Production Year don't align, job 1 date has to be some time after the order entry process. Taking the regular ford F150 ordering process as a guide order banks opened 9/15/21, scheduling was 10/14 and job one date was 11/15 (for the DTP plant). So if we get configurator and order banks say 1/10/22 we can roughly expect job one being 3/10 at the EARLIEST.

Now lets take the Bronco manufacturing as a guide. May 2021 job 1 resulted in 1819 being built. June was 5489, July was 6072, August 8243, September 3916, October 7668, Nov 10504. We already know that full manufacturing targets for the Lightning is 80,000 per year in 2024 but that was after seeing demand and adding $850MM investment to increase capacity. We have already been pushed back a little from the original estimates of configuration/order entry/and hopefully not delivery but we will see.

All that said, pure speculation but there is lots of smarter people than me that do this analysis for a living, I bet we see production numbers around 1000-2000 per month for the first couple months of the build. starting mid march we may be lucky to see it crack 1000, then we hope the battery supplier can match capacity too. hopefully they have been cranking out cells now to stock up for demand since the SR/ER option means little variability in inventory vs someone like the interior supplier needing different colors, finishes, etc.

The best and safest assumption is a linear ramp up to hit the 80k per year run rate (~6600 per month). That looks something like 1k in march, 2k in April, 3k in May, 4k in June, 5k in July, 6k in August (give or take ~500 per month).

agreed but I was surprised with the bronco numbers. also I don't know what the target is for their manufacturing, found another chart that said they did 99 january, 87 feb, 127 march, 437 in april and the 1069 in may.

also the mach-e production has fallen since june each month. is that parts shortages? demand drop? Also Kansas City F150 plant did +26k in November, 35 an hour!

Definitely parts for the Mach-e (or some other production issue). Demand is still high with a ~6 month lead time.

Can someone clearify see if I understand this right?

Do I need to get Max tow package to get enough cooling for 7700 lb towing on Pro, or standard cooling is enough for it?
If I am towing , the only way to get trailer break controller is getting the tow tech package, right?

Is Ford Pass with Hotspot capability is a paid service?

Also 360 camera is it’s own option? Or part of another package on pro as well?

My understanding is that the Pro is rated for 5,000 pounds and the max tow package adds cooling to increase the max to 7,700 pounds.

I believe the tow assist package is the best way to get a 360 camera added to the Pro...but I could be wrong.

Hmm, I didn't get the email. I have two reservations, each under a different email address (one Gmail, one Microsoft) so doubt both were filtered by spam. I have gotten the other emails. I went online to both Ford accounts and it showed I still have both reservations. I'm in the US. Anybody else not get the email?

Also, my son DID get the email. But he didn't reserve a Lightning, he has an order in for a Mach-E. Weird.

Possibly emails went out only if you signed up for update info. I got one at that address but none at my reservation address.
