FORD: Please add lock status to FordPass app main screen

I never ask myself "is my vehicle parked", however I ALWAYS wonder if my vehicle is locked. This would be a great location to add that key piece of data in addition to, or a replacement for parked status.

The locked status is in the HomeAssistant integration so the data appears to be avail

If @Ford Motor Company can't give us 12 volt battery SOC, maybe they could change the Ready light to indicate "Ready for OTA update". It would almost always be off.

so just click the lock button and your done. the time is takes is the same because if you just want to know IF it's locked Ford Pass has to connect with the truck to find out. so just lock it. same difference.

The thing is, it already connects to the truck, that's how it gets charge percentage.

We’ll have to agree o disagree on that one, a quick check to see if it’s locked vs sending an unnecessary lock command is not the same. It’s also different if you are able to realize that your car has been unlocked for a period of time which could be important in various situations.

If you run a home automation solution like HomeAssistant, you can see those items in the dump from Ford Pass so it’s definitely there.

Means it's ready to drive - you pressed the brake pedal while pressing start. Press start without the brake pedal and you will not be ready or able to drive (you're in Accessory mode).

I would extend this request to app alerts as well. For example, on my Toyota Highlander if I park and leave it unlocked, leave a window open, leave the hatch open, sunroof etc I will get an alert about 5 mins after parking saying “passenger rear window open” or “rear hatch is still open” etc.

On the UI you can do this by having a single lock/unlock button.

Also, am interrupted charge session notification would be nice.

The decisions Ford made with FordPass are so strange.
