So my home is set up with a 100 amp panel is it possible to get the Ford Pro Charger installed? I know you can de rate the charger from 80amps. Just need more juice to charge than the 120v portable charger provided.

Yes. You can set it from 12A to 80A. Meaning, it can be setup on a 16A to 100A circuit. Your electrician should be able to tell you what is the maximum circuit you can use. FWIW, 2024 Lightning can only use up to 48A (60A circuit). Anything above that is pointless.

Since you can't use it at 80 amps, I wouldn't install the Ford Pro charger, it's huge, and it seems that it has lots of complaints from users. Get a Grizzle or Emporia 40-48 amp unit.

I had a ChargePoint installed on my old house that had 100 amp service. The electrician didn’t run as large of a wire as I’d asked for, so the circuit ended up at 50 amps instead of 60 amps. We came to an agreement and set the charger at 40 amps. Everything worked fine and it still charged the truck as I needed.

If you took the deal for the free Ford charger installed by Qmerit then by all means move forward. I took the $1000 cash incentive since I already have a Tesla charger installed.
