FordPass 5.8.0 for android downloaded today

Still waiting...................... for 5.8.x

I plugged in my truck this afternoon at 2 pm it's waiting for the next charging event as I expect will occur on time tomorrow at 0600 hours, I'm sure this has been the m/o for a long time, but could be stated better, thoughts ??

In my opinion the phrase should state "Waiting to Charge at 6 am"
Not when I plugged the J1772 connector in.

I just got 5.8.0 to happen a couple of minutes ago by tapping the Play Store "Check for Updates" button several times. First time it had one update available; second time two, then the third time it offered and installed FordPass 5.8.

The Check for Updates is where I updated mine from as well.

@TaxmanHog last I checked, the "last updated" date was still showing Oct 9th. And on the "Waiting to charge at...", mine does the same. It's always confused me and I never made the connection that it was related to when I plugged in!

I did the same thing - it took a few minutes to install on my tablet.
I see the trailer light check tab now.
Are there any other changes?
I didn't notice anything else yet.

No other changes were detailed in the notes from the PLay Store.

Ford Pass added Trailer Light Check.

Added trailer light check, but still haven't fixed the Prepare cabin off plug feature. I want to have my truck prepare the cabin while off plug, makes it easier when you forget to start on cold day. Anyone else see this as fixed. I deleted all saved times and reenter them still not allowing the feature to be enabled.

I've had no issues with preparing cabin off plug in version 5.7.0 and prior.

Are you sure that all connected features & communications authorizations are properly set in the truck?

Yup, reset everything with the Ford Pass app tech team on phone. They told me would be fixed in next update. I have a 24 flash lariat trim. Cabin plug tries to connect but won't stay on

Ohhhhhh yes, I've read about this issue with a few members, good luck waiting for the update ....

BTW, Flash and Lariat are distinct trims, which is it?

Lariat. My auto type keeps adding flash.

Just got the update. App crashes when you go into Alert History in the service tab though, anyone else? Only tried clearing cache, haven't tried reinstalling yet.

Make sure to post reports in the App / Play stores of any bugs found.

No issues for me and that open up fine with no health alert history (lucky me). I did reboot my phone after installation to resolve other issues not related to the FordPass app. I had not tried the Alert History prior to rebooting.
