Fordpass not updating charge history etc.

2023 Lariat F-150 Lightning
Came out to cold truck this am. (first world problem I know). I have departure times set for Mon-Fri at 0615 and most days are gone.
Then noticed that it didn't report my last charge history and climate settings won't connect.
Bluetooth seems to work for Frunk/ tailgate, but lock /unlock for cab is non-op.

deleted and reinstalled FP app, and redid PAAK. still no workie...

Anyone else having issues or has my modem went kaput ?

Have you disabled any of the connected vehicle features on the Sync screen?
Have you had OTA updates since this issue cropped up?

I haven't disabled anything but idk about updates, I'll have to check.

I haven't disabled anything but idk about updates, I'll have to check.
Give the settings a review, on rare occasions updates have messed up settings, I recommend authorizing all features.

When I try to open the connected vehicle features menu it gives me a “please wait” and then doesn’t open.

guessing that’s not good…

10 mm wrench. Disconnect your 12 v battery about 5 -10 minutes.

Mine has not prepared battery or cabin on departure times today. Mine have been the same for a month.

I have had an issue of charge history not updating in FordPass several times. Rebooting TCU (Telematics Control Unit) and/or the GWM (Gateway Module) using Forscan resolved the issue for each time. Disconnecting the 12v with a 10mm or pulling the fuses would have likely accomplished the same thing.

Currently at work but will disconnect and report back tonight when I’m safe in the driveway

That fixed it.
Thanks guys, idk why I didn’t think about d/c the 12 volt.

maybe next year Ford should just put a switch in the cab lol

Love it and glad it solved it.

The speculation about this trucks troubles and the thousands of hours Ford goes around in circles over it is just crazy.

It is a very few simple things when there are troubles with the controls, dash, pretty much anything wrong the with the truck. The absolute quickest and easiest thing to do and should be number 1 for EVERY Ford diagnosis is to disconnect the 12v for 10 minutes. Reconnect. 95% of the time the problem is solved.

Beyond that, either a bad battery module for the red ring problems or maybe a little troubleshooting for a small handful of other things.

Anything else is just a feature and we need to learn how to live with it and enjoy it.
