The way this works is if you enroll in the service it allows the vehicle to be tracked using the trucks gps data and modem. It also prevents master reset from inside the truck. It is only available the the 2024 ICE F150’s. Lightnings are excluded.

Is there a technical/mechanical part that is the limiting factor? Or is it just part of the rollout plan?

I am not sure why the Lightnings are excluded. It’s kind of weird but I’m sure they have some business based reason for the exclusion. The hardware is basically the exact same.

i think it’s just a business decision. Hardware should be the same.

The Fordpass Charge Session details screen is intermittent with reporting charging metrics.

It took much longer to start seeing the Charge rate, eventually it shows my typical rate of 16kW.

The Energy added field is not reporting total kWh received, after the session finished it reported substantial less than should be shown

Downside of this new Supercharger network, I’m Even more irked at the crappy Vega and Evo chargers that do not work. Tesla units just staring at me….the wait for that adapter will seem like forever.

The Energy Added field continues to be problematic, today it's over counting!
Yesterdays values were within tolerance FP=31.2 vs Emporia=30.9 vs FCSP=30.7

I saw this earlier and even made a screenshot to post a thread about it. Ford really needs to give us 2023 and earlier models PIN to drive if they wont give us “Stolen Vehicle Services”
I've noted this a year or so back and wished it would come - a nice added layer of protection. However you know if you have a Tesla that when you sit you are presented with the PIN screen immediately - you never wait, you are ready to go. Have you ever thought about this with the Ford start up sequence and wake up process. I'm guessing you would wait 5 to 10 seconds every time you get in the truck just to get the keypad and then you'd have to hope that it is responsive. Ford just doesn't have the CPU and start up sequence to make it happen.
