Updates to PAAK and Charging data screen.

Ford F-150 Lightning FordPass v4.23.0 (PAAK setting enhancement) 1670513643800
Ford F-150 Lightning FordPass v4.23.0 (PAAK setting enhancement) 1670513666398
Ford F-150 Lightning FordPass v4.23.0 (PAAK setting enhancement) 1670513702328

I didn't get a screen shot, but when you open the revised app and view the home screen, there will be a prompt to enhance functionality of PAAK, this involves adjustment of the location services permission level, here is a shot of the screen within the mobile device's app settings, look at Location.

Mine had been previously set to "Allow only while using the app" switched it to "Allow all the time" which caused an additional green check mark for the PAAK readiness status wizard.

Yes much needed! Just tested out changing charge settings from FordPass app will see tonight if it works right. It started charging immediately instead of starting at 9 pm like it normally does. Ford and its bugs lol. Happy to see nonetheless.

Woke up to 70% charge this morning just as a changed it to from the app. Thank you ford! Wouldn’t it be great if we could have a different daily charging limit for each day of the week? Id like 70% normally and then 90% for the one day a week I drive far. And we need a start charge now button in addition to the charge to 100% button. 😉

This isn't going to cause more frequent updates to drag down the LVB is it?

On a related note...I did this update the other day like most people but never got this notification about location permissions....I checked my location permission settings and it was already set to "always" anyway. So I imagine that's why. I wasn't aware (except for the brief update note in the Apple update) that really anything had changed. PAAK has always worked fine once I did the required module updates to get it to function so I'm not noticing any different behavior in that respect. It still takes a about 20 seconds when I do a "pulldown" refresh to see what my battery charge status is. I guess that's good because I really would rather not have the truck be trying to constantly update FP and run down the LVB as a result. So it's a fine line as the song says.

I also updated the app, but it seems to not be any different than it was before. No ability to make any changes that I couldn’t.
