Tried that. N
I would not reset your options, but I would try to reboot the center stack. Many commands go through there.

From page 515 of the manual:

You can reboot the center display using the controls on the steering wheel.
1. Simultaneously press and hold the seek forward and audio system power button for 10 seconds.
Tried that one. Didn’t work unfortunately

I saw somewhere that there’sa manual frunk release where a traditional hood release would be under the driver side dash, a red loop looking pull

Yup. Read that in the manual. You can hear it moving something but it has failed to release the secondary latch

The manual release has to be pulled twice. Maybe with a helper pulling up.

I’ve tried it. But won’t hurt to try again. Thanks

If it's so stuck, are you sure you can't drive it for now? Maybe do a spin around the parking lot before you head out, but it doesn't seem like the frunk is going anywhere?

It’s pretty stuck on that secondary latch but with my luck thus far with the paint coming off on the grille now this, I can just picture that thing releasing at 70MPH on the freeway 🤮

Go old school and hook a bungee strap under it and strap it to the frame, then drive it home. At least you want have to worry about it flying open until the reinforcements arrive.

My gut tells me that if it isn't fully latched the truck won't even drive.

They are a few weeks out for an undrivable vehicle? You could try another dealer, but you should at least be getting a loaner. I would push them to make room.

Bonus points if you ask for the mannequin as your loaner -- it's only fair.

p.s. I would not drive the vehicle any substantial distance, and would have it towed if the dealer is farther than like a mile.
