How to Re-request OTA update?

Is there a process for re-requesting a failed OTA update? My truck tried to update last week while parked at the airport. Unfortunately the battery was too low for it to apply the update. It failed 4 nights in a row and apparently stoped trying. Now that my truck is home and charged, I am unsure how to reattempt the update.

Ford has to initiate it. Nothing you can do on your end.

This is a good reason to disable the automatic install if it's an (inhibit type) while away from the vehicle for extended periods where you can't intervene.

Which update was it that failed?

The update is posted on the backend. The vehicle reaches out to that backend to see if there are any updates and pulls it down for install. Regretfully there is no way to download or install unless you have the subscription and the necessary hardware.
