How to set perimeter only alarm on the Lariat?

Here's a question; how does one set a "perimeter only" alarm for a pet in the Lariat? It was super easy to do on my 2015 ICE Lariat, but not so much for me on the Lightning though!

Check the Instruction Manual under Security and see if that helps (Perimeter settings). There's an on-screen Owners Manual App in the truck and also online:

You have to turn off the motion sensors in settings.

You have to turn off the motion sensors in settings.

YOu can also set the option for the truck to ask you whether to turn off the interior sensors when you turn off the vehicle. It then pops a message onto the dash, defaulting to no - leave them on.
