2024 F-150 Lightning Flash
First post on the forum, just wanted to contribute now that I am I proud owner of a 2024 F150 Lightning Flash. I ordered these takeoff leather seats from an ICE F-150 on eBay. They patch the cup holder portion of the rear seat to fit lower trim f-150s and based on research from this forum and some youtube videos I was fairly certain the seats in our F-150 lightnings are identical to the ICE ones. There aren't that many good tutorials out there on how to do it and most of the ones available do the front seats only and never show the rear seats being done.

I did all the work myself and it was definitely a lot more then I initially expected. I also saved myself a lot of trouble and just cut the old cloth seats to avoid the work of having to pull them off. The seats are held in place with these clips that attach to a rail on the cloth and it was just easier to cut the cloth off the rails and slide them out then trying to save the cloth seats. Its very easy to tear the clips off the seats themselves.

Once the cloth seats are off the leather seats are easy enough to wrap around and clip in. The most tedious section was the rear seats where it required a lot of unbolting and disconnecting to get the seats out so that you could take the cloths seats off and put the new leather on.

Overall I am really happy with how they came out and maybe its just me but I feel a lot more comfortable in the leather then I did in the cloth seats. There are a few wrinkles especially in the headrests but I have heard that a steamer or heat gun should help get rid of those. Honestly for under 400 dollars getting OEM leather seats it was worth all the work it took to put them on.

For anyone curious where I got them from, This is the ebay listing : https://www.ebay.com/itm/225916700339

Nicely done. Iā€™m kind of waiting on a platinum to come up as parts. Iā€™d like to get the rear seat with the cup holder as well. Maybe the cooled function will plug and play even.
The Leather seats on yours do look more upscale.
For now I went with the rough country seat covers. Iā€™ve had the same ones on my Ram for about 3-4 years and they still look new. Hoping to get similar results from these as a Platinum most likely wonā€™t come up any time soon.

The do look great. But I wonder how would the covers effect cooling seats the covers don't look like they would allow air flow.

They are definitely perforated so in theory it shouldn't be an issue. I added the same ones to my truck. Not that it matters though. The Pro, XLT, and Flash cannot be equipped from the factory with cooled seats anyway.

Hey it was actually your YouTube video that helped me put the seats on and gave me the confidence to do it, youā€™ve made some really good lightning content on your channel. Keep up the awesome work. You are also right, the seats that they come from are from ICE lariat trucks that have cooling and heated seats which is why they are perforated.

FWIW, my flash has cooled seats from factory.

Question for the front seats? There is a strap on the lower seat cushion, that for some reason no video reviews. It is sewn around, so the only way I see to get it off would be cutting it, which is okay. But then, I donā€™t know how I would get it on with the new lariat leather covers. Any tips here? Do I need to remove the entire cushion?

The lower seat cushion has to come off in order to do this install, it pretty much just pops off once you unhook all the fabric points that clip to the seat frame.

Thanks! I figured this out afterward. It seemed like all the videos just breezed past this part. The passenger seat took me twice as long as both back seats. But I got it finished. Hopefully the driver will go smoothly tomorrow now that Iā€™ve finished the passenger. Definitely have some sore fingers! šŸ˜†
