Issue programming a new key

That’s interesting. So this was purchased based off a link from another thread on how to 3d print a case to make a diy PaaK of sorts. I got the 315mhz and yeah it basically is a dud seems like, but this could explain it.
Pretty good reason to get a flipper zero as well tbh haha

The frequency of the key fob is printed on the circuit board inside the fob, under the battery. My 24 Flash shows 433 MHz and my 23 Lariat 5.0 shows 902 MHz.

I was 0 for 20 tries programming a new key fob until I followed the instructions on fob placement in the back up slot.

Can you show exactly how you determine that?
So I have a 24' flash and I heard that same thing in another thread, recently I picked up a second backup fob in the 433mhz range and now this time I'm have zero success and getting the "failed programming" notification where the original 315 says successful but then doesn't do anything.

I feel like I'm missing something and or taking crazy pills

The FCC ID numbers on the working fob and the fob to be programmed should be the same for the fobs to be on the same frequency band.

The ID is printed underneath the key.

This is what I was looking for thank you, I was aware of the ID info just not how to decipher it.
