So I have been using a MUSTART 40 Amp 20 Ft J1772 Extension Cord for a number of years now. Unfortunately I have been having issues with the internal cables showing due to the sheathing coming down (I can tuck them back in). However the other issue is some rusting on the bottom pin, which appears to be the equipment ground. These are used on a constant basis, and outside.

Any good recommendations on another one? I remember that Lectron used to have one, but they no longer sell it.

I have one from EVDance (bought from their store on Aliexpress) that works fine and comes with a storage bag. I tested it, and a friend used it for a couple of weeks before he got his EVSE installed properly. I can't vouch for its long term durability though.

I have a 40 foot lectron extension cord. I've been using it for a couple years. It is run from the front left side where the lightning plugs in, up to the exposed rafters in the garage and down the diagonally opposite side and under the garage door. The plug end is either plugged into a car or drapes over my electric meter or enphase combiner box. I leave it permanently run. This way one evse can supply two different parking places. It wasn't cheap, but it was cheaper than another evse and another evse would probably put our electric service over capacity (even though we would not use all of our cars charging capacity at the same time).

I also have this cord, 40ft, in Canada, bought from Amazon. At 32 amps it's just slightly warm to the touch after a few hours. The cord is much thicker than the one on the Ford mobile charger (which gets warmer at 32A!). I'm pleased so far!
