If it's the LENZ adapter, it's the other way around - it is like the adapter you receive with a Tesla to charge a Tesla at J1772 stations. Seems odd they'd include one with the Lightning, maybe the kits are produced by common manufacturers or something?

Maybe the Tesla tap is so you can road charge your buddies Model X when he is stuck with a low battery. lol

Not particularly, I only had the Tesla mobile charger and wanted something that supported non-Teslas. The Flex does up to 60A iirc, so is faster than the Tesla mobile.

I have a Tesla wall charger..i think it delivers about 9kw (does that sound right) and thought it may just be simple to get a tesla to j1772 adapter. I eventually would like to have the whole enchilada with pro power backup for my entire house but alas sunrun does not serice my area. So who does? That remains unanswered.

I think we're twins. I have the same truck (same color) on order, which should be here by the end of the month. Please let us know how the Linex and cover work out. I was considering the exact same products. I also have a Chargepoint Flex installed at my house and will be using that while I ponder the whole home backup options.

When you recive the SunRun ‘Time’s Running Out’ email, you can click on through to a recommended local installer. The one I got seems to be a large regional electrical contractor. The equipment is easy to order* from a link in the same email. Any competent contractor should be able to install it.

Thanks..already received that email..now just to find it! Backordered..crazy times right now, as i think the Ford Pro Charger is not comeing with the ER trucks as well, and will be sent later..when..anyone's guess.

Those are from the SunRun email. The reservation number works for me, even though it asks for the order number.

I received an email saying it was built back on 5/23, and then received an email yesterday saying it arrived. No email saying it shipped, so I was a bit surprised. Reserved 5/19/21 within the first minute, ordered 1/7/22, blend 5/8/22 arrived at dealer 6/1.
