Leak on rear motor

Hey all, I brought my truck in for a recall item, and they found a leak during the inspection. Using search, I did not find any like issues. Has anyone else seen this issue? I'm concerned this could become a big issue as they look to start working on it next week. Thanks!

Could be o'rings, oil pump, oil filter, axle output seal, or electronic interface plug

I have a 23 Lariat ER. My dealer found a weeping seal on the rear motor(not sure which one) last fall. It took over a month to receive the part, but only a couple hours to replace. The dealer told me it was not a common issue in our area, at the time.

Take a look at the work order, I'm curious which part or seal was replaced.

Here is an update on the issue here. The problem was a leak from the seal on the oil pump on the rear motor. They ordered the part, replaced it, and refilled the oil. I'll report back if there are further issues.

Glad to hear this sounds like a pretty straightforward repair. No need to pull the whole motor out it sounds like.

I must say, I was a bit confused when the term "oil pump" came up.

Tesla motors are the same, oil pump and oil filter.
It’s really a Dexron VI type ATF fluid.
