I would probably look elsewhere since they don't provide any concise specifications or install info anywhere. The installation PDF on their web site just shows how to connect the J1772 charger cord.

50A is odd. So it would need to be installed on a 65 AMP breaker to supply 50A charging. It just seems more appropriate for it to be rated as a 48A charger on a common 60A breaker or use a 75, 80 or 100 AMP breaker for higher charge rates as those are all more common.

I'm thinking this is actually a 40 AMP charger -- installed on a 50 AMP circuit. That matches up with their 37/38 miles of range per hour charge rate claim. Which is what the Model 3, Y, Ionic, etc.. get from an 9.6kW / 40A charger.

For the exact same price (or less), I think I would buy the WallBox, ChargePoint, Tesla, or others that are highly rated and have been around a while. WallBox 48A (60A circuit) is $699 most places. Tesla's J1772 wall charger is $550 and also 48A output.

Great Points! I appreciate the heads up, and your point on amperage makes sense since it looks like it is not a direct wire device.

Looks like only 3 star
I also looked into this charger, all the bad reviews were because it was listed as coming with a 14-50 plug and there was no plug. It was mislabeled by Costco.
