Get a new one. It is probably a loose connection or chafed wire and when it is fixed it will be fine but getting it fixed is going to take more resources than any shop is going to want to put into it. I think that the Mach-E had over a mile of wires that it didn’t need, think of how many miles of wires that are in there that you do need.

Two different and unrelated faults sounds like a wiring harness or ground issue. These are a bear to resolve because they are intermittent . You don’t need this. Get a different truck.

I use to work at a Chevrolet Dealership for 22 years. I've seen brand new vehicles with weird issues that are either hard to resolve or they never get resolved. Like I've been telling you from the start, run away as fast as you can!

Ryun, is there any procedure to get the vehicle in neutral so they can get it on the flatbed when the shifter doesn’t work? I think the driver gave my wife a separate key. Assuming that need to be inserted somewhere to manually get it in neutral.
I think the second key is for the glove box and the armrest

Update for 11/29....Servicing dealer has advised that the SOBDM is going to be replaced and the part will arrive on Saturday and be installed on Monday. The check out the truck to see if that solves the problem or anything else then pops up.

I understand they go through the Frunk to replace the module. Anything else that I should be concerned ablout with this type of repair?

Another update!1

Getting close to throwing in the towel! So the vehicle started this AM and they took it out for a ride. Immediately started throwing errors so back into the shop. I am being told that the main culprit is code BECM-P0AA6- High Isolation Fault on High Voltage Side. They said they tested the HVB and it tested good. The hunt for the cause of the error will continue tomorrow. I know it could possibly be a connector or something. Question is could that cause anything else to go prematurely in the future.
If you’re concerned, ask them to comp you a free or deeply discounted Ford Premium Care extended warranty.

Update! Won’t bore you wilt the lack of communication from servicing dealer and Ford. So the SOBDM that was supposed to be delivered on Saturday apparently didn’t come until Tuesday. Replacement began and continued til end of day Wednesday. Testing began on Wednesday. 3/4 of the day passes and no word. Finally get text from selling dealer that they think the found another truck in CT. So what happened to truck at servicing dealer. Failed rod test, battery light came back on. No other details.

Search for another truck begins.

Truck in CT sitting on lot for over 6 months so asked for a vehicle from RDC. None at RDC that selling dealer has access. I found a couple similar using Ford’s build site but that means another dealer would have to obtain. Told selling deals about what I can see. Got a text last night that they are working with Ford rep and may have located one in MA. No more details as of yet.

I will try and follow up on vehicle being repaired just to see if closure is reached and what the final resolution was so that we all can learn.

Looks like I should followed the advice of all that said to get another vehicle immediately as all of a sudden, there are not many Flashes in stock in the color and configuration we had. There were plenty before Thanksgiving.

There's always a few that escape QC, I'm happy to see it occurred BEFORE you took delivery. I hope the search will be successful for another. I second what @The Weatherman said, it's worth it!

UPDATE 12/14!! Well, tomorrow will begin month #2 without a truck. Playing phone tag with servicing dealer but to my knowledge the original truck is not fixed yet and we are not pursuing.

As for the replacement truck, according to Ford there were none on the east coast even though I could see a couple on the build website and on dealer websites (I didn't call to verify) but apparently they found a truck at some unknown RDC that is in process of being routed to the selling dealer RDC and then to the dealership. Just got a VIN yesterday and I requested a copy of the sticker as it was not available on any of the Ford sticker lookups. Was told it is a freshly built truck but we all know the plant has been closed for a month. When I put the order # and VIN in from the sticker, I got the below. So my concern is why is the last update on this vehicle 10/17 and it looks like the process was stopped as if Ford pulled it off the line or something. Anyone with ideas?
