If that doesn’t work here is the alternate method. From the screen “Settings - Vehicle -Emergency tow”
It does require 12V but I don’t think you have to turn it on. This is the method used when there’s a software problem and there’s no menu. There’s also a full video on towing with all the details.Thank you! And I’m assuming this method is meant if no power available to truck at all so don’t have the accessory power on, correct?
Had a Mach-e for 3 plus years and I remember posts saying to carry one as insurance. Never needed one. Will pick one up but since it is in my driveway, I can connect a 120v charger to it for the same effect. I have a Juicebox but the driver did not park it close enough for the cable to reach.Have you tried charging it with the portable charger? Listen for the contactors to click and inverter to hum. If the contactors aren't clicking then it may be a HVBJB issue.
Wouldn't it just go into accessory mode? There would be no reason for the error messages. Unless the switch was broken and the truck knew it was broken. But it sounds like from his responses that it's unlikely to be the switch.Broken brake pedal switch.......................
