Overall satisfied as well. Have my gripes as well…almost entirely software related…would seem that’s where FMC needs to invest some more money.

Satisfied enough that Zeus got dropped of at the Port today to make an ocean sailing to Hawaii where we’re moving.
Another satisfied customer, though not perfectly:
  • Keyless entry pad was disconnected at delivery (easy fix)
  • Front parking sensors not fitted, contradicting sticker (not sure about fixing that)
  • No known way but plastic film and tape to prevent nocturnal light show which interferes with astronomy
...but a great vehicle overall, almost as nice as my wife's 2021 Mach-E...a necessary condition for my being allowed to by it. :p

@DiveMan911, we're losing you from California? Hope you have a great time on the island(s). Are you moving before PG&E raises our rates to be higher than those in Hawaii? Or perhaps it's that although Hawaii waters are a desert compared to California's, there's enough visibility to actually see it?

I also do astronomy and astrophotography.

If you have an obd2 device and are willing to use forscan, you can enable "Silent Mode" which is a toggle on the Vehicle Settings Screen. It turns off all responses to walking up to the vehicle at a key, as well as not turning on any* lights when you open the door.

The IPC screen has a dim light, but otherwise everything is off.

Fantastic! I was unaware of that. Time to get more serious with ForScan! Many thanks.

65k km's on mine now with no major problems.
Minor problems have been:
1)Right rear wheel speed sensor wiring was damaged(replaced under warranty)
2)Window switch module replacement due to stuck down rear pax window(common f150 problem).
3)running board light had condensation in it. (running board replaced under warranty)

Did a big road trip this month and got to use my charging adapter, worked great. Tesla charging is way more expensive though.

Drove 700kms last weekend, one charging stop each way, cost was $40cad for DC fast charging at petrocan and about another $10cad for the overnight L2 charge at family's house, so total about $50. My gas truck would have cost $131cad in fuel at least. Had I used Tesla, the DC fast portion goes up to $75-85Cad.

Everyday I drive is just money in the bank.
I’ve found Tesla SC to be better priced for the most part than Ea and most other DCFC companies. Then if you get the the membership it’s even better. So I look for SC over others. When I plan a trip I look at all the chargers to find the best option and it usually is SC. Can you guys not get the Tesla membership pricing up there?

In the two years/33k miles I've owned mine it has been to the dealer to fix the axle ting and then once more to fix a drivers seat clunk in the bottom cushion, which was an apparent TSB for all F150s.

Both were quick no-nonsense repairs and the dealer was upfront and clear about anything that's popped up.

That is with the $17/month membership.

The pricing also varies by location AND by time of day.

Tesla is by far the most expensive of all the options.
Yes it varies down here as well. On my last trip from LA back to Michigan Tesla was always cheaper than any of the other options. Sometimes 10-15 cents per kWh cheaper. Our membership here is $12.99/month.
