Took pictures yesterday and they are submitting them to Ford for review. I would agree that is the most prudent direction to take.

(For real though I’m sure warranty will cover it, but I’d imagine any being replaced right now will have the same problem, going to wait for a little bit. Mine isn’t so bad.)

I just threw a used set of the ice version on my Pro last night. No delam and they look great!

I'm ok with a recall for this (as long as it does not delay delivery). Even if they leave them off, pending a redesign/remake, but PLEASE do not hold deliveries of otherwise good vehicles because the steps have a problem.

Mine is also delaminating on the passenger side.

Mine have been this way since day 1, but getting worse on the driver's side I believe. I'm afraid in the winter when it gets cold, moisture will accumulate under there, freeze up and expand causing it to peel even further down.

I can't for the life of me understand why Ford made those steps for our trucks with a glossy black strip in them...it's like asking for a problem.

I pulled mine off and put a set of Rough Country steps on instead...much better!

Yes I received the ones that Real Truck and the AMP Research said to get and they are the wrong ones and the bolts don't line up. I ordered a second set, but can't get them installed until next week. I don't want to tell you to get them until I am sure these will fit.
