Those are only the prices for people who pay ADM...
True for these prices, it seems, but still a comparably-equipped gas F-150 is nearly the same price as a Lightning Pro SR, even after all the recent price increases.

The Lightning premium is near zero for Pro vs gas XL.

And Lightning XLT is only ~$3k more than a comparable gas XLT.

Lariat and Platinum may be a bigger differential, but Pro/XLT Lightning are pretty close to XL/XLT gas when comparably equipped. You can definitely get gas trucks cheaper, now, but for XL/XLT, any gas truck that's substantially cheaper is going to be have few options, less power, not be Supercrew, be 2WD, etc.

You should be able to get a gas XLT for several thousand under sticker. Looks like these are abundant. Tim talks about them on his member videos. They have dozens in stock all under MSRP.

Agree. I noted that my dealer has 80 XLTs in stock right now.

That's definitely possible. The MARKET value of the Lightning Pro/XLT vs gas may be further apart than the MSRP because the Lighting is so hot and limited right now. Either way, the premium for an EV over a gas equivalent is frequently exaggerated. MSRP vs MSRP it's maybe $2k-$3K for Pro/XLT. Maybe a few thousand more if you can get a big discount off of MSRP.

But it's not all that easy to find a Powerboost, now, either, the most comparable engine to Lightning. The largest F-150 dealer in the world lists more Lightnings than XL/XLT Powerboosts. ZERO F-150 XLs with Powerboost. Up to $2500 off MSRP on Powerboost XLTs (but they have a $1200 dealer fee).

Anyway, again, my point is that there's a premium, but it's not very big for Pro/XLT, and that's without any tax credits.

A Civic Type-R is a "civic" the same way a Raptor is an F150
I get that but it’s still a Civic……. FWD, not much better than the last Gen. At $70k it opens you up to a lot of more vehicles that will outperform it whereas the Raptor might have 1 or 2 that are neck and neck?

Not to totally derail into a rabbit hole, but have you ever driven one?

They are a hard to find manual, they are an absolute blast to drive, and they are still relatively efficient too. Does the last generation look absolutely ridiculous? Yes. But that might actually increase the price, haha. Nobody who sees you drive by wonders whether it's a type R or not.

Yes, and also a Focus RS, ST, WRX, Several SI, R35 GTR, R33 GTR. Not saying I wouldn’t want to own one, but at $70k it’s a hard pass.

I can see $5k-$10k ADM, but dealers see that and say well why not $20k? It’s nice bit not $20k extra nice. So many other options out there. With trucks I think there is are less options depending on what you are looking for. The F-150 has never been cheap in mid trim form.

Lariat (ER) is pretty close too. At least for 2022 it was within ~$1k if you got equivalent options (as close as possible). I haven't checked 2023 prices.

Meanwhile the rest of us are paying the $6,800 increase in price on the XLT which brings it to $20k more than the PRO that I had agreed (to myself) to buy.

I'd say $65,500 for a just-above-base-model XLT Lightning is pretty obnoxious. But hey, at least for now we may actually get heated seats!

...and still deal with XL level "cloth" seating, and manual adjust passenger seat.
