I made a run to the grocery store on this early Sunday morn...

stopped in at the local Ford dealer, where I had my LIGHTNING delivered back in August...

OH MY! The PRICES for trucks now, gas trucks, are absolutely CRAZY
.....good GRIEF!!!!

2022 New F150 XLT, gas.... $66,000.00! and, by the way, NO NEGOTIATIONS...you'll either pay it, or you won't get it. Crazy.

2022 New F150 Lariat, gas... $87,000!

2022 New Lightning Lariat DEMO, 512a package... $105,000! Oh MY!!!!!!!

I'll just stick with my new Lightning Pro, with Max Tow, Tow Tech, and 9.6kw ProPower, tri-fold TONNO,and carpeted 'bed rug' bed liner... all for less than $50k.

Are any of those MSRP, or all ADM?

OP's dealer is clearly charging ADM. My dealership has 4 Lariat's in stock (gas), $70K or less. 502a package. No ADM. Plan purchases accepted.

They have 80 XLTs. Highest is around $64k, 302A. Lowest is $57K, 302A also.

[shakes head]

I may be the only one to say this but I feel better with those prices. I figured that I paid a $20k premium for my Lightning but looks like I overestimated. Maybe only a 5-10 thousand premium to save 8¢ per mile in fuel.

I can't wait for the car market to crash....I'll be out looking for bargains...

(Although this time around there will be less as dealer stock is not as much of a thing)

Economics is going down and chip shortage is yesterQuarter story, so MSRP or ADM would be yesterYear's story after new year.

As long as their are supply chain chain problems and logistics issues prices will stay high. Inflation this time around is just price gouging based on market demand far exceeding supply (or in the case of oil and food, artificial restrictions from war and collusion). Interest rates won’t really touch it until enough people get fired and can’t afford it. They really need to stop the interest rate hikes and solve for profit taking instead…but the Fed probably will just keep at rates hikes till they kill enough jobs to “solve” it.
