AIA, if this has already been covered in another thread, but when I hit the Start Charge button in FordPass v5.9 for iOS, if I try to change the one-time target charge from anything other than 100%, charging stops. Does anyone at Ford test their software before it's released, @Ford Motor Company? Not to mention, I still cannot get anything other than 100% Max Charge Rate (80 amps) out of my FCSP these days.
After adjusting the target charge with the rubric" One-Time Charge - Adjust Target Charge at any time," here's what I see:
So, you think I'd be all set. Hit START and I'm gonna charge to 70%... WRONG!!! Here's what happens instead (and charging stops if I try to change it from 100%):
As soon as I hit START, I'm charging to 100%, despite the first screen capture advertising a 70% target charge.
IIRC, it used to be that the one-time target charge just affected the one-time main screen display when charging. But now, when I change the one-time target charge slider on the Energy tab in FordPass, the target charge is also changed in the CHARGE section of the Energy Table under the Target Charge label. That used to be the usual target charge level and, IIRC, was NOT changed during a one-time charge session. If Ford programmers have decided also to display a one-time target charge in this section, they should label it as such when it's in effect and display off to the side the normal target charge set for that location. The idea of a one-time target charge was supposed to be that it didn't knock you off your usual target charge for a location.
The effect of changing the one-time target charge to 80% and how it changes the display of what should be your normal target charge (50% for me) is shown in the following two screen captures:
Main screen on Energy tab
Charge>Target Charge subscreen after moving the "one-time" main screen target charge slider to 80%
