It appears 10.1.1 is being sent to some 24’s out of order and that’s why they’re missing the Android Auto stuff. Happened to me today.
Yep, seems that way for me as well. I got my truck in Dec 2024 and I dont have the karaoke app, but just got 10.1.1 yesterday. Still not karaoke or public charging app. I have an iphone, so not sure on the AA stuff

I wonder if the 24's will get another update that packages only select items from 10.1.0?

Typically in software updates things are cumulative, particularly with minor and patch releases like this so I would expect it to contain everything in 10.1.0 also.
Wondering if there is some feature flags that get turned on separately like they saw for karaoke that will turn these things on... Only @Ford Motor Company knows though 🤷

It *should* work like that but it doesn’t. These are just module update packages, and each module has its own software version.

I’ve had our resident expert check my VIN and this update made a GWM module update available to me (possibly the same one that was sent in one of the newer ECG OTAs) and he’s thinking once that GWM gets updated, the APIM update will become available that was part of 10.1.0.

I’ll give it a week or two to see what shakes out of the OTA tree.

Ford has had issue with segments of multipart update packages in the past, when an issue is found they suspend that release, then try to fix the entire package, and resume release, or they partition out the items to subsequent releases.

I've seen it happen in earlier updates.

Yeah I messed with lots of settings and have most things very open. Still no battery related info, either current percent or projected for a destination set.

I'll give it a bit as one of the other posts suggests.

This 10.1.1 update has been downloading for four days now (started downloading on Wednesday). Pretty sure it will not install at this point. How long do I have to wait for this attempt to fail so I can get in line to try again?

This 10.1.1 update has been downloading for four days now (started downloading on Wednesday). Pretty sure it will not install at this point. How long do I have to wait for this attempt to fail so I can get in line to try again?
days, weeks, months, I haven't really noticed a solid pattern.

Nice to see this update resuming, portents of more to come!

I'm on a hot streak, this just came in for me.

Anyone know if the Tesla supercharger update is issued with one of these newer updates? I never got that one.

Consolidated two threads on the same update, started with testers and now latest are reports from general release.

This was a non-inhibit type update, they occur on the fly.
