So I’ve put 15,000 miles on my lightning so far and maybe once or twice in its entire life have broken 2.2 mkwh while on the road. Sure putzing from one side of town to the next I might get 3 1/2 but 95% of my driving is open highway and my average is 1.9. I still have one of the trips left alone since when I bought it and it also says my lifetime average is 1.9. These vehicles are supposed to learn our driving patterns and give us information that reflect the way we drive yet every time I charge this thing up to 90%. It tells me I have over 300 miles of range. We all know that’s not the case though at 90% on my extended range battery. 90% equals 117 kW multiplied by 1.9 equals 222. So why after having put over 10,000 miles on this thing and never breaking 3 kWh does this thing calculate mileage like I get 3 kWh? I love this truck and there are a few things that I don’t like. This is probably one of the more annoying. I’ve gotten to where I just use my calculator to figure my range instead of using their gauge.
